A Day In The Life of an Excel Spreadsheet Running a £10,000,000 Business
The Problem
Many organisations rely on Excel to support business-critical processes.
There is nothing wrong with Excel.
The risk appears when a spreadsheet evolves into a finance system, reporting platform, workflow engine or operational process that nobody fully understands. Business logic becomes hidden inside formulas, macros and undocumented processes. Knowledge becomes dependent upon a handful of individuals, creating significant operational risk whenever people leave or requirements change.
How Intelligent Decisioning Can Help
We help organisations identify where spreadsheets have become unofficial business systems and modernise them using the Microsoft technology stack.
By combining SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI and Copilot, we help organisations move critical business processes into governed, scalable and supportable platforms while allowing Excel to continue doing what it does best.
